I've found that often with buying a second hand bike there are follow on costs due to their disrepair. Although my bikes are sold as seen I do take pride in fully servicing and repairing the bike, reducing the chances of any issues after sale.

Taking your bike to the local cycle shop where even a basic service can cost between £35-£40 and a full service up to £85 means that a bike that would be scrapped due to this cost gets a second chance to ride another day!
